Shamie: ugh, I thought as much, did not know if a new one could be soldered in, airflow is good, cleaned and made sure of that. will be a few days before i get a new laptop.

Mstar: You can't replace the video card in a laptop Shamie, (except for only a few very high end laptops) I read the manual on your's and it didn't indicate it was replaceable. The Video chip is integrated onto the motherboard. Chances are your cooling fan isn't running or airflow is blocked.
